THE ADVENTURES OF PIRATE AND MOSQUITO, THE EDUCATIONAL FILE - LEVEL 2

Recommended age: 2nd and 3rd grades

This activity binder allows Cycle 2 students to check their understanding of stories independently through exercises adapted in two levels. It supports the reading of six books with various activities around the text and vocabulary.

• Reading rally: series of 10 questions per book to check comprehension.
• Image workshop: illustrations to validate the understanding of the story.
• Four word games: letter jumble, crossword, word search, scrambled words.
• 72 question/answer cards.
• 3 A3 posters of the city map (labeled, color, black and white).
• Bookmarks, reading completion certificate, monitoring sheets to photocopy.

The activities aim to develop listening and story comprehension, interpretation of adapted texts, as well as the ability to read and understand a story as a whole.

• Perched cat: Moustique spends the afternoon at the park with Pirate, sharing games and discoveries.
• Mystery Rabbit: disappearance of Pirate’s rabbit at school, a mystery to solve.
• Chase: adventures of Pirate and Moustique at the supermarket after athletics.
• Otto’s garage: Moustique, sick, plays in Otto’s garage with Pirate.
• Superheroes: Mardi Gras carnival, question about true superpowers.
• March honey: afternoon in the countryside with surprises planned.
