To accompany the reading of the albums, we offer a workbook with six activities (at two levels) for understanding the stories and vocabulary to be done independently.

Objectives:

This series of "Adventures of Pirate and Mosquito - Level 3" is dedicated to consolidating reading practice for CE2 students.

They will follow the two children they can easily relate to, Pirate and Mosquito, in their different adventures thanks to stories, adapted to their reading level and easy to understand.

Teaching materials (activity sheets) are also provided to allow students to progress independently at the end of their reading.

• Discover a story and demonstrate understanding by answering questions without referring to the text.
• Read, understand, and interpret an age-appropriate text and react to its reading.
• Read and understand a story as a whole.

The Legend of the Lake

On vacation at the campsite, Pirate and Mosquito take part in a sailing course on Lake Val-Céleste. The lake owes its name to a fantastic legend, as wonderful as the adventures the two friends will experience!

The Secret of Black Pepper

Pirate and Mosquito go on vacation to Powder Island. When Mali, Pirate's father, tells them the legend of the pirate Black Pepper's treasure, the two children are amazed. What an adventure if they discovered the pirate's secret!

Halloween Treasure

It's Halloween night. Pirate and Mosquito take part in the big treasure hunt organized at the castle. Their research could lead them to some very mysterious discoveries...

The Prankster Elves

It's the beginning of September. Pirate and Moustique are spending the weekend in the mountains skiing. In the chalet, at the foot of the tree, a letter from Santa informs them of a visit from his elves, Minibus and Petipa. Watch out for the pranks of these two... and those of their parents!

Walk in

Pirate and Moustique go hiking in the mountains with Moustique's father. They discover magnificent landscapes and incredible wildlife! Chamois, donkeys, marmots... But will they encounter the most mysterious of animals: the wolf?

A day in the countryside

Pirate and Moustique spend a Sunday in the countryside, at Moustique's grandparents' house. The day is full of funny discoveries and wonderful surprises. But a mysterious cry intrigues the friends. Has a child disappeared?
